About
I dove deep into the science of nutrition, functional medicine, and epigenetics, and what I found changed everything. I reclaimed my health and sense of self and now help other women do the same.
I work with women who are DONE being told their suffering is normal. Together, we explore what’s actually going on in your body using advanced functional testing, whole-food nutrition, and a deep understanding of how your genes and lifestyle interact. We don’t do cookie-cutter protocols or overwhelming “shoulds.” We create a practical, personalised plan that helps you thrive, not just survive.
This is about coming home to yourself. It’s about deep sleep, stable moods, strong cycles, and joy returning to your days. It’s about finally having someone look you in the eye and say, “It’s common, but it’s not normal, and I am here to help.”
Legacy Nutrition was born from that journey — mine, and now yours. It’s about breaking cycles of disconnection and dismissal so that you, and the generations after you, don’t have to start from scratch. This is about healing in a way that lasts. Not just for today. But, for your legacy.
Legacy’s symbol - The harakeke (flax) plant - represents the whānau (family) in Māori tikanga. The rito (shoot) is the child. It is protectively surrounded by the awhi rito (parents). The outside leaves represent the tūpuna (grandparents and ancestors).
‘Legacy’ Nutrition was created to symbolise what legacy we are passing down to the next generations through our health, behaviours and actions, not only through our genes but also how we are showing up in the world. The harakeke is an excellent representation of this big responsibility we all carry. Just like the unfolding leaves of this plant, we have the opportunity for constant renewal and new and better ways of being in this world, which we can pass down to our kids and from our kids to theirs.
Is your health and behaviour who you want to be and what you want to be passing on as your legacy.
Meet Kirstie
I’m a Registered Clinical Nutritionist, and I help women who feel like they’re falling apart — hormonally, emotionally, physically — but keep being told it’s all “normal.”
Let me be clear: You’re not dramatic. You’re not lazy. And no, you’re not just getting older. You’ve been dismissed, misdiagnosed, and handed scripts for antidepressants, birth control, or a patronising shrug.
How do I know this? Because I’ve been there too.
Stressful, high-power jobs and poor coping mechanisms had me self-medicating with caffeine by day and wine by night. Wired but exhausted. Monthly periods that made me feel like two different people — half vibrant, half overwhelmed, anxious, and disconnected. I was trying to hold everything together while falling apart inside. When I asked for help, I was handed pills instead of answers.
That’s when I decided: enough.
